According to a baseline research conducted by BBC to assess the status of girl friendly toilet in public schools of Kavre, it examined the knowledge about MHM among young girls, the result was alarming, as many young girls lacked knowledge on MHM. Thus, this project will target five municipalities and two rural municipality targeting one school in each working area. It will focus on creating awareness among young girls and boys focusing on adolescent changes and MHM, while advocating with the relevant stakeholders like local, provincial and federal government bodies, community members, principals, and teachers to advocate for girl-friendly toilets in public schools of Kavre.
