BBC took leadership in initiating the Beijing+25 review process in Nepal and organized consultations twice in all the provinces focusing on orienting BPfA and its implication in the lives of the women as well as to identify the challenges and gaps in the implementation of BPFA. The consultation also focused on gather information required for the development of Feminist Position Paper and preparing advocacy briefs of all seven provinces.

National review was then conducted to validate the findings from the provincial consultation as well as to glean the gains and pains from the grass-roots and take these findings to the global level through development of National Parallel report from Civil Society Organizations, in order to incorporate them into the new global action plan for generation equality to be adopted at the UNGA in September 2020.
