BBC’s work is to support government, international organizations, civil society organizations and local communities to implement BPFA, National Plan of Action, CEDAW and other International conventions related with women’s rights to achieve gender equality. We use a four-pronged approach to achieve gender equality, sustainable development and women’s rights.
Influencing governments and other partners to review existing policies and adopt strategies to achieve greater and better participation of women in development.
Building public awareness on rights of women so that people themselves take responsibility to work collectively to advocate the agenda.
Developing and promoting models of development on BPFA’s 12 critical areas of concerns through, research, education, training, and partnership.
Building alliances and network at local, national, regional and international level to advance agendas in pursuit of human rights for all.
