Though all human beings have equal rights which is recognized by all major Human Rights instruments including CEDAW, women of all diversities and LGBTQI+ are discriminated against and excluded in societies to varying degrees. Thus, this module clarifies the concepts of exclusion, inclusion, intersectionality and GESI.&nbsp; It helps participants to become intersectional feminists which contributes to realizing equality and justice &#8211; true equality and just society not only for women but for all people everywhere.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The overall objective of this module is to enhance our understanding of the key concepts of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), and skills in applying intersectional feminist perspective in everything we do (developing programmes, projects, policies and any interventions) for realizing GESI in all diverse SOGIESC people.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This module consists of five sessions:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Session 1. Concept of exclusion and social exclusion<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Session 2. Concept of inclusion, and social inclusion&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Session 3. Concept of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Session 4. Intersectionality approach and GESI<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Session 5.
